Day 3
We were determined to have this be our final day, as we had already racked up about 12 or 14 hours and were already emotionally done with the project. We worked and came up with the rest of the project, which resulted in the pics.
Day 2 continued
The process is insanely frustrating. Coming up with one idea is good and dandy, but only if we had something to follow that good idea. We came up with our task to be completed: pour sugar and cream into a cup of coffee. Coming up with this was ultimately started by us trying to pop sugar cubes into a cup. And off to martins we went to buy sugar cubes.
Day 2.
This is when our ideas really came together.
We were told we could not use the game mousetrap, but that it met all the requirements. We developed the idea that we could create our own version of mousetrap.
That didnt work out exactly, so we decided to use parts and pieces of the game for our final machine.

Day 1: First Ideas
Our research for "rube goldberg machine for kids" yielded no results--Only genius 10 year olds who had way too much time on their hands. Our first, and original, plan was to cut a banana. Through this idea, we utilized many different materials, as seen in the picture. Ultimately, it was decided that this plan was far too messy.
